“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list” pretty accurately reflects my approach to traveling.

Travel planning is a hobby for me and I love it when a plan starts to come together. Here are a few things I’m working on now for 2026:

• Washington, DC – A work trip will take me to DC for the third time. When I was there a year ago I found some really great craft breweries that warrant a return trip. That and trying to eat at every Jose Andres restaurant in the city sounds like a good way to spend a few days.
• Vancouver International Wine Festival – Already planning for 2026 with a friends trip for a lot of wine tasting, eating, and soaking in the charms of one of my favourite cities in the world.
• Ottawa, ON – Work will take me back to a city I lived and worked in during the “way back” years of my life. It has been a while since I’ve been here so I’m looking forward to rediscovering Ottawa.
