I’ve put writing on football and travel on the back burner this month as I’m taking a run at completing a draft of my first novel in 30 days as part of the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).  It’s probably been a blessing as there’s only so much I could have written about my Philadelphia Eagles tanking during the last few weeks. Having to write a couple of thousand words a day is a good way to get your mind off your team.

So, fingers crossed, I’m closing in on completing the draft, and as importantly, having fun in the process.
