It is pretty normal for that time of year. This was from mid April. There were a number of places we wanted to visit but couldn’t get to because roads wouldn’t open until sometime in May. Reply
It is quite amazing to me. I live in Eurasia about 5 degrees north of Lake Louise, and here the snow is a little in April.

Is such deep snow typical for the lake in april, or it was only this year?
